It is a great pleasure to announce that Prof. Rosalie Rahal Haddad, along with the Círculo de Atores, who produced George Bernard Shaw’s play Mrs. Warren's Profession, have hosted the commemorative event called “2 x Shaw”. This event featured a season of Mrs. Warren’s Profession and The Millionairess, also by Shaw, in the months of August and September 2019, at the Alliance Française Theatre with a full house. Clara Carvalho, who played the role of Mrs. Warren, won the Aplauso Brasil Teatro Award and Chris Couto, who performed in The Millionairess, was awarded the Shell Award, the most renowned award in Brazilian theatre.
