The First UFPR Encounter of Irish Studies took place on 10 and 11 May, 2011, dealing with the contemporary trends in Irish theatre and short story. The event was promoted by ABEI, the W. B. Yeats Chair of Irish Studies/USP and the Federal University of Paraná – UFPR
