Wonderful news! The honorary president of ABEI, Prof Munira Hamud Mutran of the University of Sao Paulo, a pioneer in developing Irish studies in Brazil, was just awarded the Presidential Distinguished Service Award for the Irish Abroad for her contribution to the diffusion of Irish Studies in Brazil.
