INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE IASIL -2002 Interrelations: Irish Literatures and other forms of knowledge In 2002, the Department of Foreign Affairs supported the international conference, "Interrelations: Irish Literatures and other forms of knowledge", organized by the International Association for the Study of Irish Literatures (IASIL) and hosted for the first time in a South American country. It took place at the University of São Paulo, Brazil from 28 July to 1 August 2002. There were 179 participants representing 21 countries.
